Apart from Wildlife Welfare and many other programs LWWF also concentrate on helping underprivileged elements of society such as TRIBALS. We’re connected with many Villages and ASHRAMSHALA (school of tribal students). They are socially and economically backward and they have isolated them from urban areas.
It is interesting to note that apart from several governmental efforts, the contributions of non–governmental organizations in providing training and development in different sectors of economy especially the tribal population. The tribes in India are characterized by the dominant groups as distinctive with their comparatively more isolated habitation in the hilly and the forest areas, and their distinct social, economic and cultural lives.
The appeal of donation of old cloths and stationary for the students from LWWF not only received huge response but also was bolstered by the joining of many young faces who had the desire of working for this noble cause. We are donating more than 2500 pairs of good quality clothes, and stationary in tribes of JAMBUGHODA WILDLIFE SANCTURY, PANCHMAHAL and CHHOTA UDEYPUR from YEAR 2012 in the special celebration of DIWALI festival, so that they also can wear good clothes in New Year.
